"We are a family of 4 who stayed one night at the beautiful Hôtel château Schengen on our way back to Norway. The staff working there where very service minded. According to my son, this was the best hotel of the whole trip!He also liked the playful dogs that lived in the castle. We can recommend this place very much, and will be happy to return later.

"Would say that the hotel is very good, services s well. Options for dinner are awesome, swimming pool and spa options are great as well. What could be better are beds and pillows. Overall, I would definitely visit it again. "
"Merzig was, for my family, an overnight stop both to and from Rettenberg. The hotel was quickly found from the motorway and parking was available. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. That breakfast was included was a bonus and there was a good choice of well prepared tasty food. Staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. If all Holiday Inn Expresses are as good, they will be my future choice on my journeys."
"It was a bit difficult to find the lobby, but once we found it, the staff was extremely welcoming and gave us an upgrade to be able to see the runway from our room (which my airplane-loving husband was thrilled about). Great experience all around!"

"Impeccable staff and hotel. Customer service was first rate. 5 minutes walk to tram, bus and funicular into centre of city. You can also walk into the centre from the hotel for the adventurous. Tram back to the airport takes 15 mins. Breakfast at hotel also excellent. Would stay again without hesitation. "
"No frills but perfectly fine if you don't expect luxury or extras. Convenient to rail station, plenty of restaurants and shops, easy access to tram that will take you to just about any place of interest in Luxembourg. Even the airport - for free. "
"Whilst this is a little walk from Trier station (about half an hour), the hotel is terrific: staff are friendly, the room quality is great and the breakfast was plentiful."
